Objective
For World Book Day, our client aimed to host a fun and engaging free event that would attract visitors of all ages, fostering community participation and celebrating the joy of reading.
Method
To create an exciting and inclusive experience, we chose superheroes as the central theme -an instantly recognisable and universally appealing concept. We selected Iron Man and Captain Marvel, two famous characters, to headline a meet-and-greet, drawing in visitors of all ages.
To reinforce the World Book Day theme, we incorporated live storytelling sessions, ensuring continuous entertainment throughout the day. This not only enhanced engagement but also encouraged visitors to spend more time at the event.
Visually, we embraced a bold, comic book-inspired aesthetic, making the event feel immersive and vibrant. To further elevate the excitement, we encouraged attendees to dress as their favourite superheroes, culminating in a fancy dress competition where the best-dressed participants won themed prizes as special keepsakes from the day.
