Stanley the Skeleton at The Harvey Centre

The Harvey Centre, Harlow

Digital & Social Media

Objective

This Halloween, we wanted to create some super fun social content for our client to entertain followers and celebrate the spooky season. The goal was to create a series of content to engage the centre’s audience, immerse them in the Halloween spirit, and highlight the variety of retailers available at the centre.

Method

To bring this vision to life, we introduced a new, honorary mascot: Stanley the Skeleton! A fun character that we used to capture a whole range of content with. We showcased Stanley engaging with various retailers, from trying on spooky pyjamas in Primark and getting an eye test at the opticians to grabbing a bite at Burger King. We had a lot of fun getting creative in showcasing the centre’s diverse retail offerings.

We captured Stanley’s antics through creating reels, showing Stanley exploring the centre and even riding around in a kiddy cart. To wrap up the week, we launched a Halloween competition, inviting followers to share where they’d spotted Stanley in the centre for a chance to win a Halloween themed hamper. This interactive element helped tie together the week’s content.

Results

Across all 5 pieces of content produced, we achieved an amazing reach of 41,819 and 46,267 impressions. In terms of the competition launched, this received 170 entries The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many followers commenting about how funny they found the skeleton and even suggesting new spots for Stanley’s future visits.
