OBJECTIVE

To develop a business plan to secure Romford BID’s next five year re-election.

PLAN

To create an engaging, memorable business plan that will be shared with levy payers, that explains what has been achieved over the last five years by the BID and AL Marketing. This includes the delivery of a diverse, comprehensive, and award-winning programme of activity to help revitalise and regenerate Romford including recent events like Chinese New Year and Eastern European festivities, which have driven different communities to the town.

OUTCOME

  • Business Plan agreed and in circulation, with rave reviews on content and design. Voting will commence on 1st May and a decision of the next five-year term made on 19th May.
  • Planned a successful ballot launch event to present the Business Plan to levy payers, which was attended by +150 people.
  • Organised community events like Chinese New Year that have increased footfall week on week by +35%.
  • Increased social media profile visits, reach and engagement by > 100% compared to the previous period.
