Metrocentre, the north-east’s premier shopping and leisure destination launches its much-anticipated Christmas ad campaign this week (Thursday 24th November). A 30 second animated TV ad features the inhabitants of a local neighbourhood waking up to a magical snowfall – the snowflakes transforming into the logos of the shopping centre’s unrivalled retail and leisure brands.
The campaign concept was developed by leading destination specialists AL Marketing with the animation crafted by Newcastle based Arcus Studios.

Helen Atkinson, Marketing Manager at Metrocentre said “For many people, this is the first opportunity since the pandemic to share an uplifting Christmas together as a family. We wanted to brings some magic to the ad while also highlighting that we’ve bucked the national trend with dozens of new brands like H-Beauty, Jo Malone and Hobbs opening at Metrocentre recently.”
