Leasing Support & Added Value

OBJECTIVES

The centre team’s leasing strategy at Vicar Lane, Chesterfield, has involved targeting local independent businesses to re-enliven the previously struggling street, Steeplegate, as an independent quarter. So, a key focus of the marketing strategy is to support these new independents.

METHOD

Throughout the month of July, following the official UK national focus of Independents Day on 4th July, we launched a campaign aimed at supporting these tenants. This included gaining testimonials from customers, creating screen animations to go on the centre’s big screen and organising a new suite of photography to showcase the brands.

OUTCOME

This resulted in increased awareness of these brands and positive customer feedback for the tenants to use within their own marketing. It also led to an increased number of tenants joining Vicar Lane.
