OBJECTIVES

The Client wanted to remind shoppers that they were a dog friendly central London destination and try and draw a more aspirational shopper to the centre.

PLAN

We created a sensational event that dog lovers across London flocked to. There were dog competitions taking place all day as we searched for the dog with the waggiest tale, best coat, best paw shaker and more. We had professional dog photographers, pop-up shops, doggy bars, dog goody bags and free puppuccinos for the dogs to enjoy. We also held a best outfit show with incredible prizes for the best dressed dogs to win. Multiple professional dog trainers were roaming the Brunswick throughout the event to offer helpful tips and advice for dog owners, and caricature artists were ready to create lasting memories of the event for visitors. There were also photo opportunities galore and professional shows with talented dogs that showed the public their best tricks and skills.

OUTCOME

The centre’s footfall was up 4,000 compared to the same Saturday the year before – an incredible result. Even celebrities descended to the centre to experience everything on offer.

A newsletter was sent to our database promoting the event, which had an open rate of 44% – compared to a national average of 12.5%.

An incredible £1,160 was also raised at the event for Guide Dogs UK, which was very appreciated by the charity.

Press coverage appeared in key London titles including Camden New Journal, Islington Tribune and Westminster Extra.
